As an epoxy and coating company, we offer a good selection of additives for the epoxies, in the form of thickeners, fillers, pigments and non slip additives. Besides listing them below, you'll also see a link to them in our online catalogs. The shipping for even a small box of light weight fillers can be more than the cost of a quart of thickeners. The only way around this is to call in your order (online stores don't know you can put multiple things in the same box) and "add in" the fillers thickeners with an epoxy or coatings order. That way the fillers more or less ship free.
Fillers, thickeners, pigments, additives for epoxies.....
POLY FIBERS - strands of poly fibers to add support to thick epoxy sections (like rebar in concrete or rip stop nylon)
MICRO - BALLOONS /MICRO SPHERES - tiny hollow spheres used for thickening and easy sanding - two sizes
WOOD FLOUR - very fine saw dust - common epoxy thickener
EZ THICK - very fine cellulose fiber - common epoxy thickener (interchangable with the wood flour)
ROCK FLOUR - stone dust for rock hard epoxy
COPPER POWDER - special 'platelet' fine copper powder mixed with epoxy for 'art' and anti fouling marine bottom paint (shipped by third party)
GRAPHITE - adds 'slip' and or dark gray color to epoxies
FUMED SILICA - most common epoxy thickener, very light. Often called Cab-o-sil (tm) or Aero-sil (tm) which are brand names. It comes in lots of flavors. Fisherman use a hydrophobic version on their fishing flies. MORE INFO
